This event is intended to greatly increase your gil by capturing Gil Snappers. These units are not playable, their only purpose is to be sold for massive amounts of gil.

Gil Snapper's Cave is almost identical to the Cactuar Dunes event, except it gives out Gil Snapper units instead. The only use for these units is to sell for gil.

This event is very easy. A new player shouldn't have any trouble doing Gil Snapper's Cave all the way up to the last stage.

Monsters from this event don't drop normal loot, nor can it be stolen. Though you are advised to use Libra against Gil Snappers to collect their data. Gil Snappers always drop a Gil Snapper unit of their type. Each stage has a higher spawn rate of a different type of Gil Snapper, and the last round will always guarantee that type of Gil Snapper. Entrance will guarantee a Mini Gil Snapper. Center will guarantee a Gil Snapper. Depths will guarantee a King Gil Snapper.

The expected average gil you gain by doing Gil Snapper's Cave - Depths is around 10,000. Keep in mind that money is not all that important unless you need to enhance high level units or awaken a large amount of high rarity units.
